The KORUS Festival which is the biggest Korean American festival in the
Washington metropolitan area was held from Sep 26th to 28th. The 6th annual
KORUS Festival hosted by the KORUS House of the Embassy of the Republic of
Korea in the United States and Korean American Association in the Washington
Metropolitan Area attracted more than 10,000 people for three days.
In spite of heavy rain, the event was very successful. More people from
other ethnic groups compared to previous years took part in the festival.
Visitors enjoyed vibrant and dynamic activities and performances.
Especially, Korean B-Boys and Hwang Jin Yi, the Korean traditional fusion
musicians were very popular. A large variety of Korean foods also made the
KORUS Festival more fun.
iTalkBB actively participated in the festival. iTalkBB sponsored the Talent
show hosted by the Korea Daily and Diane Kim, Marketing manager of iTalkBB,
presented awards to the winners on stage. Also, iTalkBB set up one booth and
introduced iTalkBB's products and services during the event. More than five
