  • Is the Caller ID feature the same as my traditional service?
    Yes. When a call comes in, you will see the phone number of the caller.
     
    Does Caller ID show the name of the caller?
    Not at this time, but we will have this feature added in the near future.
     
    Do all service plans come with the Caller ID feature?
    Yes. Caller ID is a free feature that comes with all of our service plans.
     
    Can I use iTalkBB's service to make and receive calls when traveling?
    Yes. You may use iTalkBB's service wherever high speed Internet is available. When traveling, just bring your Phone Adapter along to hook up with the modem and router. You can receive and make phone calls as you would at Home.
     
    What should I do with my iTalkBB service if I move?
    You may keep your number when you move, or we will choose a different number with a different area code for you at no service charge.
     
    If I live in Washington, D.C. can I get a San Francisco number?
    Yes. You may choose any number that is available, even if you do not live in that area.
     
    Why do I need a number that is not in the area I live in?
    That is an advantage of our service, which is especially attractive to our business customers. For example, if you live in Los Angeles and have a New York phone number, anyone in New York can call you without paying a long distance charge.It is as if you are located in New York.
     
    What is in-network calling? What are the charges for in-network incoming and outgoing calls?
    Calls among iTalkBB customers are considered in-network calls. These calls are always free wherever you are.
     
    If someone has iTalkBB's service in China, when we call each other is it considered free in-network calling?
    Yes, and it is always free.
     
    Our current basic features:
    Caller ID
     

    Available to all customers with any service plans.

     
    Call Waiting
     

    Call Waiting allows you to accept an incoming call while you're already on a phone call. This feature places your first call on hold by pressing the flash button and you answer the second incoming call.

       
    Three-Way Calling
     

    With Three-way Calling, you can connect with two other parties at the same time. The three of you can talk at once. To use: dial and connect with the second party, then press the switch or flash button, wait for 3 short tones then dial the third party's number, when connected press the switch or flash button again to get all three parties on line at once.

       
    Call Forwarding Always
     

    After hearing the dial tone, press * 72 + 1 + the number you wish to forward to, 3 short tones confirms the set up.

    press * 73 to cancel.

       
    Call Forwarding Busy
     

    After hearing the dial tone, press * 90 + 1 + the number you wish to forward to, 3 short tones confirms the set up.
    Note: takes about 20 seconds for calls to be forwarded.

    press * 91 to cancel.

       
    Call Forwarding No Answer
      After hearing the dial tone, press * 92 + 1 + the number you wish to forward to, 3 short tones confirms the set up.
    Note: takes about 20 seconds for calls to be forwarded.

    press * 93 to cancel.

       
    Call Hold
     

    During a call you may place the call on hold by pressing the flash or hold button, press the flash or hold button again to return

       
    Call Transfer
     

    Transfer a call to a third party. After the call is connected, press the switch or flash button, then dial the third party's number, after connected press the switch or flash button again, after all parties are connected then hang up.
